My journey
My journey
Two Years ago after accidentally attending a Vedic Session In Uttar Pradesh by Arya Nirmatri Sabha. I came to know about this Book named Satyarth Prakash. Even before this session, I was suggested to read this book by some intellectuals. Even haters of Arya Samaj were agreeing about the greatness and effectiveness of this book.
Finally, I decided to read it once and for all. As I am from the south, Hindi was the second language for me. So, I started learning Hindi and Devanagari. As the book was originally written Hindi. To have the true essence out of it I wanted to read it in Hindi.
The day I completed the Last 14th Chapter, I added Arya to my name. I accepted that there is nothing superior to Vedas, there is no alternate to Vedas. If salvation is what you seek? Vedas is the answer. The concept of God, Adhyatma, religion will only be in the Vedas.
This Book, The Satyarth Prakash Written by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati is not just an ordinary book. It's a scripture where theology, sociology, psychology, physiology everything is explained and compiled into a small book.
The book explains each and every major theological ideology which were present in the 19th century. Atheism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Vaishnavism, Shaivism, Sikkhism and many more. All of these explained thoroughly in details, with proper references from their own scriptures.
Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati in such a short span of his life. Went through all these factions, studied them, analyzed their scriptures and finally concluded them. Such a scholarly task cannot be performed by anybody even today, in this era of the Internet. Just imagine the intellectual level of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati back then.
In the book, Maharishi explains every argument with flawless logic and thorough reasoning. I personally have found only two people who were at Dayanand Saraswati's level of reasoning. Issac Newton and Stephan Hawkins.
Working with RSS and VHP, I had the opportunity to meet people from many religious and political organisations like ISKCON, Brahmakumari, Art Of Living and many more. But I did not find any cult even close to the level of intellect this book has been producing. No wonder since the beginning of Arya Samaj. Their product from freedom fighters to the religious leaders have been so influential. It's all the energy and logic which radiates out from this book. Even Yogi Adityanath in Aap Ki Adalat once said, if he ever wants somebody to come closer to Vedic Religion. He provide them with only two books. Bhagwat Geeta and Satyarth Prakash.
If you are a right winger, who care about your Dharma? If you care about your Rashtra? Just ask yourself what is your ideology? Is it compatible and applicable everywhere, every time, with everybody? If not then you are just firing in the darkness. All your debates, all your arguments, all your hard work, everything will go in vain. If you close your eyes to the truth.
After reading this book a second time, for me, there is no looking back to all the stupid arguments and debates I have done before. I have found logic and reason, I have found the truth. Truth is one and it never changes.
The fact is Quality always beats Quantity. There is an Arya Renaissance going on, and now we won't stop for anybody.
